A photo beats a paragraph
You do not need to know the terminology or measure anything. Most people describe the problem in a sentence and send a picture, and that is genuinely enough to get started. If it is useful, these are the things that let us give you a straight answer fastest:
- Which room, and walls or ceiling. A hall ceiling and a full lounge are very different jobs.
- Roughly how big. Wall count or a guess at the room size is fine, nobody expects a tape measure.
- What is wrong with it. Cracked, blown, textured, water damaged, or just tired and being decorated.
- A photo or two. The single most useful thing you can send. It usually answers three questions at once.
- Your town and rough timing. Whether it is urgent or you are planning ahead changes what we can offer.
What happens next
A quote, not a sales call
You get a reply with either a price or a question. Small, clear jobs can often be priced from a photo. Anything bigger, or anything where what is behind the surface matters, gets looked at in person first, because a price given without seeing it is a price that changes later.
The quote is free and there is nothing to pay for the visit. If the honest answer is that you need a different trade first, a leak fixed before the plaster goes on, or an asbestos specialist rather than a plasterer, you will be told that instead. It costs us a job and saves you a repair that fails.
No job is too small. One wall, one ceiling, one patch after the plumber has been. All of it gets quoted the same way.
